What We Believe

Statement of Faith

01

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried.

02

The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.

03

The Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

04

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is received by grace through faith, not by works, so that no one can boast. Repentance and personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.

05

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the operation of spiritual gifts as described in 1 Corinthians 12.

06

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as commanded by Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation.

07

Communion

We believe in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) as a memorial of Christ’s suffering and death, and as a proclamation of His coming again. It is a sacred time of fellowship and remembrance for all believers.

08

Divine Healing

We believe that divine healing is provided for all in the atonement of Christ. Prayer for the sick and the laying on of hands is encouraged and practiced as taught in the Scriptures.

09

The Second Coming

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. His return is imminent and will be personal, visible, and glorious. This blessed hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
